Welcome to Confabulicious—A Blog About the Fabulous Part of Life

It’s my birthday today and I am birthing a new blog. For those of you who were loyal readers of my old blog, www.homeschoolin-mama.blogspot.com, I thank you. It was a casual endeavor that allowed me to document my crazy experiences as I began homeschooling. After a year of blog posting and working on three eBooks, I decided that writing is a fabulous part of life, for me. This blog is about following my own dreams and passions and encouraging other women to do the same.
Life has been interesting in the last three years and has been filled with changes for me and my family. In times of great change, it’s not always easy to stay focused on the positive, so I made a decision based on one of the oldest and truest spiritual laws…
“What you focus on, you create”.
I decided to focus entirely on the fabulous part of life by bringing you information on the people, places, things and habits that make life better. I invite you to join me in this fabulous pursuit. Come back and visit often, tell a few friends, and let’s build what is quite possibly the world’s first blogging community devoted entirely to the fabulous.
P. S. That’s not me, but she sure looks fabulous.
P.P.S. I would like to say a special and deep felt thank you to one of my favorite graphic designers on the planet, Stanton Wong for taking my design ideas for this site and making them come to life.
P.P.S. And thank you to my web design company, www.b3net.com for making this site work the way I wanted it too.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday, Kim
What we’ve seen looks great!
Love,
Mom and Dad
Thanks for being my first comment. But then again, you’ve always been there for me for “new beginnings”.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KIM!
Hope you had a wonderful day and that you were feted and adored as you so richly deserve.
Blog is interesting, fun and beautiful. Just like you! Great job!
Hugs,
Victoria
Hi Victoria,
Thanks for being such a good cheerleader for my launch. I really appreciate you taking the time to check it out!
Wow Kim, this is wonderful. I checked it out 1 1/2 hours ago and couldn’t stop till I went through the whole thing. I’m going to reccomend it to my whole address book. Love ya!
Hi Peg,

Kim
Hi Kim – congratulations on this new launch! I was enjoyed your last blog, so I’m eager to see what new things you have in store. I love fabulous! Although life has it’s ups and downs (even in the same 5 minute period), I think it’s fabulous. We are wonderful creations who should be praising instead of whining (ok, maybe a little whining). Happy confabulicious!
Hi Erika,
Thanks for visiting. I’ve been really excited about taking it bigger. If you know anyone you think might enjoy it, pass it on. We had our last day of school today. Yahoo! How about you?
Kim
Love it! I think we speak of the “un-fabulous” enough as we vent with friends and pray for solutions. How ancient and wise it is to focus on your blessings and visualize a fabulous outcome. I’m with you, girlfriend!
Happy belated birthday, Kim! The site looks great … good job! P.S. I also think Stanton is world-class.
Enjoy your day.
Thanks Gina, Hope you guys are doing well. Keep coming back! And have a great time on vacation this summer.
Hi! Stopping by from MBC. Great blog.
Have a nice day!

I hope you had a fabulous b-day! I’m also quite excited that you gave the gift of this blog creation to yourself and to the rest of us!
Thanks! … loving this blog and looking forward to reading more. Thanks again. Corine
Kim,
I’m so glad to have discovered your blog! I just entered the blogging world on July 15, and the focus of my blog is very similar to your. I celebrate life’s simple pleasures one inspiration at a time. Even your categories make me think of the ones I’m working on for my blog. I’d love to get up with you about exchanging guests posts! I have the first guest post from another blogger on my site today, and mine is on hers. It’s been fun to do! I’ll be back again to your blog soon to do some more poking around…
Hi Mandy,
Thanks for your nice comments. I would love to talk to you offline. I will email you.
